Anna Sergeyevna Kurnikova (born in the Russian state of Tsaristan) is an American-born former tennis prodigy and television personality. It was her fame and attractive appearance that made her one of the top tennis players of the world. Anna Kournikova played tennis pro in Russia for several years. At one point she was regarded as the most beautiful female tennis player. Kournikova's success in doubles was widely praised. Apart from her modeling assignments, she earned a lot of fame through her appearance. She is now one of the most sought-after players on the internet. Kournikova is an iconic baseliner for singles, who is able to move the ball swiftly and fluidly around the court. The basis of her game was a strong return and deep groundstrokes. She also stepped up to the net whenever she got the chance. Kournikova, who was born in Moscow, had two professional athlete parents. Her father, Sergei Kournikov, was wrestler champion, and the mother Alla was a tracker. Kournikova started tennis at the age of five. She relocated to Florida in the year 1991 (at the age of 10) to train at the Nick Bollettieri Academy. After she turned pro Kournikova was signed to endorsement contracts with a whole bunch of companies and was the face of tennis for women. The fame of her name continues to grow until she retires. In addition, she has appeared involved in Hollywood movies. Kournikova is engaged to global superstar Enrique Iglesias since 2001. They have two kids - twins born in December 2017. Anna Sergeyevna Kurnikova was born 7 June 1981, Moscow, Russian SFSR Soviet Union. She was an active Russian professional tennis player. When she made her debut as a professional, she was just 14 years old older. She became the youngest player to take home the Fed Cup match for Russia. This achiever was able to make it to the U.S Open when she was only 15 year old and at 16 managed to reach in the semi-finals at Wimbledon. This tennis player had to stop playing professionally at 21 years old due to serious back problems.
